Control Room B
“Unleash the BEES!”
At One Louder Studio being prepared for any situation is what we strive for, this is why we decided to build our facility with dual control rooms. In Control Room B a more digital approach is featured. With a digital first position in Control Room B we are able to accommodate a fast work flow without loosing the ability to patch in any of the outboard gear from Control Room A. Unlike many other studios which limit the tracking to what can be done in the room, at One Louder Studio tracking sessions in the live room and isolation room can even be conducted from Control Room B with relative ease.
The center piece of One Louder Studio’s Control Room B is the Slate Raven MTX, a 47” multitouch controller and analog monitoring system and the Slate Raven MTi. The Slate Raven MTX makes using a DAW as easy as moving the faders on a console: seamlessly controlling fades, routing audio in and out of our analog front end, and summing the audio to our monitors.
Control Room B is truly a huge asset at One Louder Studio; firstly we have plenty of space to make sure our clients are never cramped or crowded into makeshift and retrofit rooms. It allows us to work faster on larger projects, with the ability to have one engineer working the main session from Control Room A while a second is doing secondary work like editing or tracking overdubs in Control Room B.
Finally because Control Room B is sonically even we can use this room for anything we may need in large sessions: This could function as a drum room during a large tracking session, while the live room is filled with other musicians and a vocalist is in the Isolation Room.
Control B can be booked by outside parties, schedule permitting. (terms and conditions apply, call for details).

Let’s just get this out of the way… No, there isn’t really a button we can push to unleash a swarm of bees… But, if your bass player totally forgot the riff you spent weeks working on, you might be wishing the button existed.
